Our adventure as farmers began six years ago, from our desire to leave city life behind and live in contact with nature, learning to take care of the land and its animals. The beauty of this piece of land and nature, nestled within the Appian Way Archaeological Park, with its thousand-year history, did the rest. The family that Stefano and I built together grew with the arrival of Camilla, Arturo, and Salvatore, and it is also thanks to them that we felt the desire to live according to the rhythms of nature and seasons.

Then came the donkeys, chickens, and rabbits, along with the dogs and cats, all part of our family. The vegetable garden, fruit trees, and wild herbs of this wonderful countryside have been reclaimed from neglect and neglect. Thanks to good agricultural practices over the years, this countryside, often previously used illegally as a dumping ground, has come back to life and today rewards our work with healthy and tasty food. From beekeeping, we learned how to make honey. The sun and the sky set the scene for our days. The Casale della Riserva Torlonia is our piece of land to love and share.
