The accommodation is located on a hill overlooking the olive grove, where we have restored an annexe in an elegant house with rural charm; a piece of history from these ancient lands. Like the stunning portal overlooking the house, dating back to the 17th century, when these lands belonged to the noble Torlonia family and their farmer kept the livestock here and produced olive oil, wine, fruit, and vegetables for the family. <\/p>\n

The house consists of a living area with a kitchen and dining table overlooking a garden surrounded by greenery and two large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub. The house's rustic atmosphere is enhanced by selected materials <\/strong>(the same philosophy we used to lovingly renovate the old farmhouse that became our home). The details speak for themselves, from Tuscan terracotta to wood from the Tuscia Viterbo area, from stone to Vietri ceramics. Everything is the result of small-scale productions by Italian master craftsmen<\/strong> we personally selected and visited, or old materials found at antique dealers and second-hand shops.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The house is immersed in greenery and surrounded by a garden for guests' exclusive use<\/strong>, featuring a dining area with a table and barbecue, a wooden hot tub, and a relaxation area under the trees. Amid vegetable gardens, orchards, and meadows of wildflowers and herbs that change color with each season, the unspoiled nature of the Appia Antica Archaeological Park<\/strong> is the ideal setting for a stay of pure relaxation<\/strong> after visiting the Eternal City, from the historic center to the marvelous ruins of ancient Rome scattered along the nearby Via Appia Antica, a veritable open-air museum of Roman civilization (immersed in the open-air museum of the Via Appia Antica (a UNESCO World Heritage Site)<\/a>. <\/p>\n

The Appia Antica Rural House welcomes tourists and travellers to the Eternal City for a unique stay in a context of nature and relax<\/strong>, just 20 minutes from the Baths of Caracalla (heart of the Eternal City).<\/p>\n

Silvia and her husband Stefano are excellent people. We are very happy to have met them. During our stay, we felt as comfortable as if we were staying at the home of a close relative. The house is much nicer than it looks in the photo. Nature was so beautiful and peaceful that we woke up happy and rested in the morning. Silvia was very responsive as a host even outside of business hours; nothing was too much trouble. The house is very well maintained and had literally everything we needed. It feels like you're in the countryside and there's no street noise, which was a nice relief coming from the center of Rome; however, just a two-minute walk away there are restaurants and lots of places within walking distance for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You can call an Uber directly to the front door, and if you have a car, there is private parking inside the farm. Fantastic place, I will be back <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

The house is located in a quiet and welcoming area, easily accessible by public transport and private car. It is convenient to leave your car there and take public transport to the city center. The hot tub is heated and offers a pleasant winter experience. Silvia was a very pleasant and friendly host, available for anything we needed.

We had a pleasant stay at Silvia's! Silvia waited for us and gave us a warm welcome, providing us with all the necessary information (transportation\/nearby restaurants\/how the cottage works). He also called a restaurant within walking distance a few minutes away so they could eat, given the late hour. The cottage is ideally located, about 20 minutes by bus, which stops just a few minutes' walk away, and you are right in the center of Rome! However, it is an oasis of peace surrounded by nature. Beautiful outdoor area with garden furniture\/sun loungers and spa available! There is also Wi-Fi (indoor and outdoor).
\nThe cottage is well equipped, with mosquito nets on every window, a large bathtub, a spacious bedroom, and everything you need for cooking. The place is very safe and secure (gate\/camera\/metal shutters). If we return to Rome, we will definitely come back here and recommend it! <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>

We had a fantastic stay at Silvia and Stefano's house! I don't even know where to start... The house was fantastic both inside and out, we had everything we needed! They paid attention to all the little details (such as the incredibly comfortable beds) that made our stay even more special! They have a wonderful hot tub to enjoy after a long day of touring the city, and the property is so calm and peaceful that you can enjoy the stars at night. They provided us with a list of local restaurants within walking distance and by car, and a list of things to do and see in the city. This was by far one of the best stays I've ever had, and it's all thanks to the incredible host! Silvia's accommodation is the best of both worlds! It feels like being in the countryside, but you still have easy access to everything a city like Rome has to offer. It is very close to several incredible historical sites, as well as a few restaurants and a bus line that will easily take you to the city center. The accommodation is clearly very popular. Very comfortable and well furnished. Plenty of privacy, even in the backyard. Having two bathrooms was also really nice! If I could give Silvia's accommodation 10 stars, I would. My family and I stayed there for four days. It exceeded our expectations. It is very close to the Colosseum and other beautiful attractions in Rome. After a long day exploring the city, we could drive just a few minutes and then we were \u201chome.\u201d Then we could use the hot tub. The accommodation is located in a very quiet rural area.
