The olive harvest

Olive Harvest: When the Fruits Transform into Green Gold

The olive harvest is a time of great celebration here at the Casale della Riserva Torlonia. The morning activity is a time to share the fruit harvest in the festive and relaxing setting of our countryside, culminating in a convivial outdoor lunch.

The olives are harvested both mechanically and manually, then we discard any damaged or damaged fruit (which would affect the flavor of the extra virgin olive oil), and finally we place the olives in crates that will be taken to the mill.

Participants can participate in the harvest (preparing their own crates of olives) and enjoy the convivial lunch. After the olive harvest participants will receive a bottle of extra virgin olive oil, which will be sent to them once the olives are pressed.
