It's one of the many names for purslane. In fields, you can find large carpeting rosettes (often very invasive among vegetable garden plants!).
They almost look like succulents, with reddish stems and fleshy green leaves with small yellow flowers.
They contain vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, calcium, and omega-3 fatty acids. Wow! I find it delicious raw in salads, with tomatoes, but also cooked, sautéed in a pan, in omelets, or battered and fried.
